A jelen munka - immáron negyedik kiadása - arra tesz kísérletet, hogy bevezesse az olvasót az Európai Unió jogi-intézményi viszonyainak tanulmányozásába. Elsősorban a magyar egyetemi képzés igényeire voltunk figyelemmel, de bebizonyosodott, hogy gyakorló jogászok, más érdeklődők is találhatnak a kötetben hasznosítható ismereteket. Bár a szerzők és a kiadó is szívesen látnák egyetemi hallgatók kezében a könyvet, a munka több helyütt a tudományos diskurzusra is tekint, néhol részt kérve abban. A könyvnek sem tárgyköre, sem módszere nem egyedi, sőt inkább azt lehetne mondani, hogy széles körben használt tankönyvek, kézikönyvek példáját igyekeztünk követni.1 Ennek megfelelően az integrációs szervezet intézményi-jogi szempontú fejlődésének bemutatása után az institucionális jog, majd az úgynevezett anyagi jog általánosan tárgyalt nagy témakörei - a belső piac joga és a széles értelemben vett versenyjog - következnek. Az előző kiadásokban szereplő néhány közös politikát tárgyaló fejezeteket elhagytuk. Ennek oka, hogy e politikákat részletesen, alaposan megbízható magyar nyelven megjelent munkák tárgyalják. A kifejtés során törekedtünk alapvető jogi szövegek - mindenekelőtt az Unió alapszerződései és az Európai Unió Bírósága ítéletei - meglehetősen kiterjedt beemelésére. „Az uniós jog és a magyar jogrendszer viszonya” c. kötet első hangzásra is ambiciózus. Ilyen kiadványnak, ha a mondanivalója hű akar maradni a címéhez, számos jogterületet kell érintenie. Az érdeklődő olvasó tehát kíváncsian, várakozón tekint a kötetben foglalt témák elé - és nem csalódhat. A tanulmányok a jogtudomány olyan széles spektrumán ívelnek át, amely még ilyen ambiciózus cím mellett is lenyűgöző. Helyet kap a kötetben a polgári jog számos aspektusa a szerzői jogtól a devizahitelekig, a munkajog, a társasági jog, a fogyasztóvédelmi jog, a büntető anyagi és eljárásjog, a
közigazgatási jog, a versenyjog, a sportjog, a környezetjog és az adójog, de szó esik alkotmányos identitásról, művészeti szabadságról, intézményi együttműködésről, az egyenlő bánásmódról és a jogi kultúráról is. Valójában azonban ez a sokszínűség a téma sajátja. Az Európai Unió ma már tagállamai jogrendszereinek olyan mértékű változását idézte elő, amely alapján bátran kijelenthetjük, hogy az uniós és a nemzeti jogrend viszonya valóban csak ilyen szerteágazóan, számtalan jogterület bevonásával mutatható be. Migration, asylum and the Area of Freedom, Security and Justice continue to be some of the most discussed and topical policy areas of the European Union. The Erasmus+ Strategic Partnership entitled Innovative Solutions for Practicality and Impact in Refugee and Migration Oriented Education (INSPIRED) has aimed inter alia at improving the quality and relevance of legal education in the field of refugee and migration oriented edu-cation at the partner universities. It has undertaken to introduce innovative learning methods in legal education such as virtual mobility and the strategic use of information and communication technology, as well as to strengthen the quality of specialized education through international mobility and cross-border cooperation. The research papers contained in this volume have been prepared partly by the lecturers and researchers taking part in the INSPIRED project, and partly by invited external researchers. They cover various legal and political aspects of migration and asylum related issues ranging from the anticipated effectsof Brexit through the principle of non-refoulement in the practice of FRONTEX to the international responsibility of private military and security companies in-volved in border control operations. The authors and editors of this book hope that the researchpapers contained herein can serve as valuable contributions to the academic debate on some of the most significant contemporarychallenges that the European Union has to face.
